Congratulations to The Poco Renegades Midget C team for winning GOLD at the Kamloops Fastball Tournament on June 4/5/6 weekend. Out of 15 teams, The Renegades finished 2nd in the Round Robin with a 4 & 0 record and went 3 & 0 in the playoffs! Congratulations to Poco Storm Midget C team for an outstanding 3rd place finish at the Abbotsford Tournament on the June 5/6 weekend. Every game was a nail-biter and a huge effort was made by all. Congratulations to The Poco Gladiators for their 1st place finish at the Whalley Squirt C Tournament. The Gladiators were in 1st place after the Round Robin and battled hard to secure the win in the finals. An honourable mention goes to Poco Heat for 3rd place and Poco Eagles (Mite) for 4th place. Well done everyone!
Sumnmer Softball Camp
The Bullpen is offering Summer Softball Skills Camp at Mundy Park. The cost of the 3-day camps will be $120.00 and the 2-day camp will be $80.00. Registration will be limited. The camps will be run by Taryn Hartley who was an all-conference pitcher at the University of Alabama and had spent 2 years coaching at Meridianville High School in Alabama. Taryn is now a softball instructor at The Bullpen. Her energy enthusiasm and knowledge will ensure an enjoyable camp for all ages. PCMSA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
PCMSA will hold the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, September 14th at The Outlet (the old post office across from Poco Bowl) at #2100 - 2253 Leigh Square from 7:30pm - 9:30pm.
