2012-05-07 -- Apr 20th - 22nd saw the Bantam B Ravens head to sunny SSWR for a tournament. After going 1-2-1 in the round robin we had to face undeafeated Fleetwood Force 96 in the semi finals. Force only allowed 4 runs against in the round robin! Although we were starting to hit their pitcher we were unable to capitalize and get anyone home. So that saw us facing South Delta Invaders 97 in the 3rd place final. We had tied when we faced each other in the round robin games and this match up was more of the same. Scoreless to the bottom of the 4th we traded runs back and forth until the 7th inning. Ravens scored the go ahead run and that meant holding them for the win. After walking the first batter we had the second batter at 1st on the bunt but the base runner having made it to 2nd tried to steal 3rd but our left fielder was on the ball covering 3rd base and turned the double play! Yeah love those plays! Next batter grounded out to 1st base giving the Ravens the WIN! Coaches Alison, Brent and Darcy were very proud of the way the girls played improving every game. Way to go Ladies it was a hard fought win. Go Ravens!

We are proud of you! So very proud of you!
