Hello PCMSA members.
We have been working closely with the City of Port Coquitlam, Softball BC, and ViaSport, so that we can proceed with a 2021 season.
We thank you for your ongoing patience as we figure out how to proceed safely.
Softball BC has now released their Return to Play Guidelines which can be found here. There are NO major rule changes.
All volunteers and coaches MUST sign the waiver on the PCMSA website as soon as possible, and no softball activities can begin until each team has had all members complete the waiver
Each team will need additional parents help to allow teams to meet the Softball BC requirements (e.g. equipment sanitization, ensuring social distancing, health checks and attendance management), in addition to basic roles such as scorekeeping and field prep. Note: U6 and U8 players require a chaperone
Again, we thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you all at McLean!
-The PCMSA Exec team
Welcome to Port Coquitlam Minor Softball! We offer opportunities for girls and boys to develop skills in a team based environment that encourages fair play, and FUN! We are based out of McLean Park, with games also played at Gates Park. Please come on down and check us out! We love having everyone come out to play!
*UPDATE*
Please be patient while we sort out how the season will go, and we will make a final decision re: volunteering, based on revised schedule, and if and when we should decide if any tournaments will be held.
We are just about to kick off the 2020 season, and we are hard at work getting teams organized, and tournaments set up. In order to make our season successful, and keep costs down for families, we depend on YOUR help to get things done. As stipulated when you registered,
Hour Requirements 2020 Season:
Volunteer hour requirements per registered family in each team shall be 5 hours in order to qualify for return of volunteer deposit cheques. There is a 2 hour volunteer requirement for the U6/Learn-to-play division.
There are no exceptions unless you have discussed this with our volunteer coordinator.

We are now seeking Rep, and House Coaching Applications for the 2021 season. Thank you for the dedication to our kids!
